Hunt Information Page
This year's turkey hunt will be April 17-19 in Flagler, Colorado. Below you will find checklists for both families and volunteers, the weekend schedule, directions, overview map, and detailed blind maps. We look forward spending the weekend with you.

Hunter and Parent/Caregiver Checklist
The following are some items we need from each hunter and parent/caregiver as well as items to help them get the most out of the weekend.
Before the hunt
__ 1. Get registered (click here)
__ 2. Complete hunter safety online class followed by a conclusion class (click here)
__ 3. Read the hunter expectations and "what to bring with you" sheet (click here)
__ 4. Hunter print and bring signed release form (click here)
__ 5. Parent/caregiver print and bring signed release form (click here)
__ 6. Print/review directions (see below)
After the hunt

Schedule (preliminary)
The following is the schedule for weekend.

Friday
1-5pm Sight-in and equipment orientation at Lakeview
4:30-5:30pm Check-in
6:30-8:30pm Dinner program at Flagler School
8:30-9pm Guides meeting (lead and video guides)
9-9:10pm Board meeting
10pm Lights out

Saturday
4:30-5:00am Breakfast at Wheatland
5:00am Depart for hunting blinds from Wheatland
5:30-10:30am Hunt
11-12:30pm Lunch and devotions at the school
12:30-1pm Group photo behind the school
1-1:10pm Board meeting
1-2:45pm Movie or fellowship and free time
3pm Depart for hunting blinds from Wheatland
3:30-6:00pm Hunt
6:30-8pm Dinner and fellowship/Indian Dancers at the school*
8pm Board meeting
8pm Bonfire/Smore's at Lakeview Lodge
10pm Lights out
* Early dinner can be made available for those who need it. Please make your request known.

Sunday
4:30-5:00am Breakfast at Wheatland
5:00am Depart for hunting blinds from Wheatland
5:30-10:30am Hunt
10:30-11am Check-out from rooms
11-12pm Lunch, devotions, sharing time, and closing at Wheatland
12-2pm Tear down and load up blinds

On Friday afternoon you want to head straight to the sight-in location first which will near the Lakeview East Lodge. From Denver, follow I-70 east to Flagler exit 395, turn left on Co Rd 5 and cross the overpass, then turn right on Co Rd U and follow it for 3.3mi to Lakeview Lodge with the arch entrance on your right.​

To view the album click here (link coming soon). Anyone with this link can see the photos/videos and also who uploaded them. If you have a google/gmail account you can join the album to get notifications when its updated. You can invite others, "like" photos, and even make comments. Enjoy. :)
